Live, Laugh, Love

larmoyante:

“I think there are people that help you become the person that you end up being, and you can be grateful for them, even if they were never meant to be in your life forever.”

Bojack Horseman

larmoyante:

“Have you ever seen anything in your life more wonderful than the way the sun, every evening, relaxed and easy, floats toward the horizon”

— Mary Oliver, “The Sun”

ink-and-oceans:

“She hides her pain under sweet smiles, graceful laughter, generosity and kindness.”

tara love

larmoyante:

“Sometimes fate is like a small sandstorm that keeps changing directions. You change direction but the sandstorm chases you. You turn again, but the storm adjusts. Over and over you play this out, like some ominous dance with death just before dawn. Why? Because this storm isn’t something that blew in from far away, something that has nothing to do with you. This storm is you. Something inside of you. So all you can do is give in to it, step right inside the storm, closing your eyes and plugging up your ears so the sand doesn’t get in, and walk through it, step by step. There’s no sun there, no moon, no direction, no sense of time. Just fine white sand swirling up into the sky like pulverized bones. That’s the kind of sandstorm you need to imagine.”

— Haruki Murakami, Kafka on the Shore

Not okay.

lifeinpoetry:

There will be a time when this heavy sadness
does not own me. I can imagine the loneliness

shaken from me by the blurry distance that years make—
but today you are not here. All that is here is this empty,
is this unending.

Desireé Dallagiacomo, from Sink

Being out in the ocean is actually so scary because when you look really far out you can kind of see how the Earth is rounded out. It looks like a few miles ahead you’re just gonna fall off or something.

Also fun trick: if ur on mobile, double tap zoom in and slide the picture side to side. It looks like you’re actually there looking left to right

DO THAT DO IT RIGHT NOW

One day, all the love you’ve given away will find it’s way back to you, and it will finally stay.
The ones who hurt us cannot heal us. That’s not the way it works. That’s not the way it ever works.
